The significant conditions, in short
  • Entry requirement. A one-off £79.99 entry fee reserves a Teacher Games place. No subscription is started, and Teacher Pro is neither required to enter nor included with entry.
  • Prize. One £10,000 prize for the verified winning teacher. Full rules apply; the winner is determined by verified performance data, not by chance.
  • Places. 500 founding places. LearnMusic may raise places from 500 to 1,000 if demand and capacity support it.
  • Prize eligibility. Paying the £79.99 entry fee vests a reserved place, which is what makes an entry eligible for the prize. Refunded, charged-back, voided, or cancelled payments do not count, and a waitlisted entry is not a reserved place.
  • How to enter. Create your teacher profile free, accept the current Teacher Games terms, and pay the one-off £79.99 entry fee while public places remain available.
  • Activation. The Games do not start automatically. LearnMusic manually authorises the cohort after readiness checks.
  • Recruitment deadline. Recruitment closes at 00:00 on 1 January 2027 (Europe/London) — the instant 31 December 2026 ends. New checkout, waitlist, and reservation confirmation close from that instant.
  • Start and measurement window. Target start 1 January 2027; the target measurement window runs to 1 January 2028, subject to formal activation and any approved postponement.
  • Judging timeline. Leaderboards update daily from the latest published scoring snapshot during the window; final winner verification and approval follow the close of the window.
  • No guaranteed earnings. No student numbers, earnings, ranking, or prize outcome are guaranteed. The result depends on your work, market, pricing, and teaching quality.
  • Cancellation and postponement. If Teacher Games is cancelled before activation, eligible entrants receive one month of Teacher Pro credit and a free entry for the next Teacher Games.
  • Disqualification — no refund, no credit. No refund, credit, or prize where disqualification is caused by false information, fraud, safety issues, duplicate accounts, or a rule breach.
  • Winner publication. LearnMusic may publish or make available winner information required to show a valid award took place. Entrants can object to, or ask to reduce, public winner information where the rules allow.
  • Scoring and judging. The winner is decided from objective verified platform performance data — sales, lessons, reviews, consistency, retention, and quality signals — under frozen versioned scoring rules with tie-breakers and final approval. There is no random draw.
