Is there a subscription fee?
No. There is no teacher subscription, no monthly fee and no lesson cap, and there is no trial to start or cancel. Optional paid visibility Boosts are coming soon and will never be required to teach.
How does LearnMusic make money if commission is 0%?
The 5% student service fee is added on top of your rate and paid by the student. It is never deducted from your earnings. That fee is how the platform is paid, which is why your commission can be 0% and stay there.
When do I get paid?
Payment collected at booking. Payout follows the lesson, subject to payment status and bank processing times. You connect a Stripe payout account once, and lesson payments settle to it; where marketplace payments are enabled, payout timing is shown in the teacher dashboard.
What is the free first lesson, and does it cost me?
Eligible new students can redeem one free online lesson, once, ever — it is a student promotion, not a per-teacher setting, and it is not every first lesson. That promotional lesson is unpaid for both sides; every later lesson is booked and paid at your chosen rate.
Can I sell lesson packages?
Yes. Prepaid blocks of lessons are included for every teacher at no cost.
Are Boosts required?
