Teacher workflow

From signup to your first booking.

What you submit, what gets reviewed, what students see, and what happens once you're live — the whole journey, plainly.

The journey

Four steps between you and your first student

Most teachers go from application to live profile in days, not weeks — the checks run while you finish your profile.

  1. 01

Apply with your real teaching information

Share the instruments, experience, lesson modes, and profile details students actually use to choose a teacher. No long forms up front.

  2. 02

Set your rates, availability, and format

You decide what you charge, when you teach, and whether lessons run online, in person, or both — all visible to students before they enquire.

  3. 03

    Go live and take enquiries

Your profile appears in search and instrument pages. Students compare, message you with questions, and book through your profile.

  4. 04

    Teach, get paid, repeat

Payments, messaging, scheduling, and lesson history live in one dashboard — so the admin stays small and the teaching stays central.

Before you apply

What to know going in

01

Your craft is the profile

Clear instruments, honest experience, and a real teaching approach carry far more weight than decorative polish.

02

Trust checks take a moment

Identity and background reviews are verified before badges appear on your public profile — students see facts, not claims.

03

Students see what you set

Your rates, lesson modes, and availability appear exactly as you configure them — what students compare is what you control.

Pricing was very transparent and the free tier was very generous I signed up as a teacher and I’m really happy with the pricing and how clear it was what they were offering and if I had to pay anything. There’s been tonnes of issues with other platforms but everything is very clear on learn-music so thank you !

First tutoring site that doesn’t rip people off ! I saw the Google ads, I gave it a go and I am quite surprised with how much detail you can add to your profile. So far I havnt spent anything but I have something I can share with my students and potential clients that builds trust and makes people feel confident about choosing me as a tutor. I know there are lots of sites that do this but this is one of the first where they’re not ripping everyone off for their service so thanks haha.

I came from Superprof as it was good for visibility however it didn't actually have anything specific for music teachers. I made the switch because this was clearly built to have stuff that i needed in the app. Thanks for putting it together and im happy that im here early.

I just wanted to say thanks to Arun for the onboarding experience, I sent over an email and he was super quick to get back to me and walk me through the setting up of my profile and explaining how to get more students.
