About LearnMusic
We are building a music tutor marketplace that earns trust by being clearer.
LearnMusic exists to make teacher discovery, booking, and ongoing lesson support feel more structured, more transparent, and safer than the usual mix of social posts, DMs, and guesswork.

LearnMusic at a glance
What is LearnMusic?
LearnMusic is a UK-based marketplace where students find, compare, and book music teachers for online and in-person lessons. Teachers set their own rates, and each profile shows exactly which trust checks have been reviewed before you book.
UK-based marketplace

Safeguarding-first
Identity, DBS, and qualification checks are reviewed before the corresponding badges appear on a teacher's profile.
Teacher-set rates
Teachers set their own rates — typically £26.25 to £84.00 per hour, as of July 2026.
Founding teacher offer
0% platform commission on lesson bookings for the first 1,000 founding teachers.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding you can see before you book.
Trust on LearnMusic is specific profile evidence, not a vague badge. You can see what has been reviewed, the booking terms, and whether a teacher is ready to accept bookings before you commit.
What we are trying to fix
The traditional way of finding a music teacher is usually fragmented, opaque, and hard to verify.
Parents and students often end up piecing together a decision from scattered recommendations, incomplete bios, inconsistent reviews, and unclear pricing. That is a poor foundation for a high-trust educational relationship.
LearnMusic is meant to make the teacher profile the decision surface: who the teacher is, what they teach, how they teach, what has actually been reviewed, and what the booking terms are.
What the product should feel like
Principles
The brand should feel calm, serious, and specific about what the platform actually does.
Trust you can check
Teacher profiles show exactly what has been reviewed — no vague assurance language.
Clarity beats hype
Pricing, booking flows, and product status should be understandable before someone commits money or trust.
Learning is still human
The teacher remains the centre of the relationship. The platform is there to support, structure, and safeguard it.
Public trust surfaces
Safety and escalation guidance should be easy to find before there is a problem.
Parents, students, and teachers can read dedicated safeguarding and complaints guidance before they book, message, or raise a concern. The pages explain what LearnMusic can review and where urgent external support belongs.
LearnMusic marketplace
The teacher discovery and booking layer. Students browse profiles, review trust facts, request or book lessons, and manage the lesson relationship in one place.
