In Defne's own words
Hello! 😊 I’m offering piano and singing lessons for beginners and improvers, particularly for children and teenagers, but also adults, who want to develop their skills while having fun with music.
I’ve been playing piano for 15+ years and singing for 10+ years, with experience across a range of musical genres. I’m also a performing and recording musician, with music played on BBC Introducing and performances across London, Oxford and Cambridge. Songwriting is a particular passion of mine, and I love helping young people explore their own musical interests and creativity.
I personally completed all LCM grades and went on to achieve my DipLCM in Concert Performance, so I’m familiar with the process of working towards graded qualifications and performance diplomas.
Whether they’re starting from scratch or already have some experience, I want lessons to feel creative, encouraging and enjoyable, while helping them make real progress.
I offer 45-minute, 1-hour or 1.5-hour lessons, depending on age and level. I’m based in Camden, and can travel to you or teach online. I’m currently available after school on weekdays.
