Hello there, I’m an ultra- enthusiastic and experienced Guitar Teacher. I always look to make sessions fun, interesting and a two-way learning chat.

I first started teaching adults and students alongside my day job as a Primary School Teacher in 1986.

Since then I have continued to teach varying numbers of pupils each week throughout my professional career in which I have been a Headteacher in two of Sheffield's Primary Schools, an educational consultant/adviser and now as an authority on Digital Skills for Employment.

I have played Classical Guitar since the age of 8 and passed the various exams to Grade 8 and have won an international award for my playing. I develop and prepare students for undertaking grade exams with all the major boards.

Teaching and playing Classical Guitar has been a passion of mine and I enjoy sharing this with students of all ages; immersion in Classical Guitar music is a great way to spend time!

The majority of my teaching sessions are held through online platforms, however I also offer in person lessons at my home in Brincliffe, Sheffield.

I make a lot of use of new tech in our lessons, for example I will always send you an email covering the main points of the lessons for you to refer to when practicing.

I have always enjoyed helping others learn this great skill, whatever their age and seeing my students flourish is a real privilege.
